There is no obstacle for anyone to bathe in the river if they want. There are both beaches and embankments.

And there is a huge coconut grove on the river bank. Where spending time is not an issue.

And anyone can taste fresh hilsa fish if they want. If you want to go to Motirhat Meghna beach, first you have to go to Jhumur station in the district town.

From there you can take a bus or CNG to Ramgati Road to Torabganj and from there by CNG to Motirhat Road.

If you look south from this embankment, you will not see any town. As far as the eye goes to the south, the eye seems to run towards the river.

The waves of the river hit the embankment. If you keep an eye on the huge estuary of the river, you can see various landscapes.

Small and big boats will catch your eye. The boats danced like Bharatanatyam to the beat of the waves. The fishermen are making a living from that boat. Throwing nets in the estuary, catching hilsa.

They are again being brought to the fish market for sale. Fishermen plan to catch hilsa. Every day at two tides the fishermen catch hilsa in the river.
