Kajal Chakraborty’s Three Poems

Destiny

Kajal Chakraborty

I never trust on destiny

Sense of responsibility makes me active

My activity never runs for opportunity

I love to work without any desire

My work done will make a resultant force

That resultant force will stand as destiny

I was born at Kolkata, a cultural city of India

I grew up in India as a Bengali

My mother tongue is Bengali

My parents, my wife and my kids

Touched the soil of India after birth

Now why I will prove that I’m an Indian

If you have tears get ready to shed them

I don’t want to join the dancing attendance

I never trust on my destiny

My work done will be my destiny.

The  Mediterranean  Sea
Kajal Chakraborty

I have not seen my Grandfather

He passed away before my birth

I have never seen my Grandmother also

She passed away before my birth.

They have gone during Second World War

I’m now thinking about them

Their face, their figure guessing their love

When we flew a little way at a time

Generally we used to face The Mediterranean Sea

Yes it’s a Sea with blue water

Paved with silver sand and hooded with sky

Keeping all his treasures under blue.

Every person having a Mediterranean Sea

They are in quest of the treasure which was

This was means it was, their past

Our past may be called as Mediterranean Sea

Now my friends please tell me about this

The Mediterranean Sea covered with blue

I’m trying to feel the temperature with my finger

But the same could be for a stranger like me.

Let  me  know

kajal Chakraborty

We will meet after this crisis

Your tears and my tears will make a river

Distant horizon will be welcomed

Leaves of tree and drops of rain

The rainbow, the morning sun

Kisses the blossoms of spring

We will meet after covid-19, means corona

The funeral procession will vanish

The wheel of bier no more circular

The cooling fan of bier’s engine will stop his rotation

Counter acting will increase our resistivity

Earth will smile with the development of antibody.
